With a major product launch approaching, the role needed to be filled in under four months. Finding the right candidate as quickly as possible was critical to maintaining marketing momentum.
The successful candidate would work across multiple global markets with several Chief Executives as key stakeholders, creating logistical challenges around coordinating interviews and decision-making.
Matchking combined existing candidate searches from our database and social networks with targeted outreach through our Powering H2H marketing network. Due to the time constraints, NTT ruled out a full executive search - this was held as a second option if the primary methods did not deliver enough high-calibre candidates.
Within just 21 days, 30 candidates had been profiled and first interviews conducted. After deeper vetting using the agreed role playback brief, face-to-face interviews were carried out resulting in a shortlist of five candidates. The interview process covered three stages - all carefully communicated and managed with timely feedback throughout.
All five shortlisted candidates had first interviews, three progressed to second interviews and two reached the final stage. Emma Peek was the successful candidate and confirmed the offer within 48 hours.
As Emma was immediately available, her induction started the following week. Matchking remained closely involved throughout the process, and the role was filled well within the target timescales.
